Compliance Assistance Program

The purpose of the Compliance Assistance Program (CAP) is to make certain that all underground storage tank (UST) systems are tested as required by regulation to protect human health and environment from contamination from leaking underground storage tanks.

This is a program whereby the tank owners can view the Underground Storage Tank Branch’s database when they have certain test(s) that are due on their underground storage tank systems.  To see the report, go to the UST Database and look under Online Reports for the CAP summary report.

If a tank owner decides to participate in the Compliance Assistance Program (CAP), the owner will simply provide dates that tests are completed to the Underground Storage Tank Branch who will update the CAP database.  The report viewed online will be updated daily incorporating the new dates provided.
