Clower Thornton Nature Park Trail Improvement Project – Re-Bid
Notice is hereby given that the Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality (MDEQ) is seeking sealed bids for the Clower Thornton Nature Park Trail Improvement Project (the Project). The Project requirements are detailed in the Contract Documents. The Project is administered by MDEQ and funded through the Mississippi Trustee Implementation Group Final Restoration Plan 3/Environmental Assessment. The Project includes the construction of approximately 2,600 linear feet of a bordered crushed stone walking trail, dry stack stone retaining walls, a wooden overlook deck, select native plantings, educational signage and custom seating areas strategically placed throughout the Park.

A Pre-Bid Meeting will be held at 10:00 a.m., August 25, 2023 online utilizing GoTo Meeting and can be accessed here, or by phone at +1 (224) 501-3412: Access Code: 899-689-421. The purpose of the pre-submittal conference is to allow potential offerors an opportunity to present questions to staff and obtain clarification of the procurement requirements.
Sealed bids will be received until 3:00 p.m. CST, Tuesday, September 12, 2023 at the MDEQ office located at 515 East Amite St., Jackson, MS 39201 or electronically via MAGIC (RFX# 3160006082). All bids received after this deadline will be returned unopened. Bids will be publicly opened at 3:15 p.m. on September 12, 2023 online utilizing GoTo Meeting and can be accessed here, or by phone at +1 (872) 240-3212; Access Code: 582-788-309.
