MDEQ To Host Informational Session and Community Forum for Jackson County Residents
(Jackson, Miss.) – The Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality (MDEQ) will host an Informational Session and Community Open Forum on Monday, February 17, in Pascagoula to provide residents of the area an opportunity to discuss environmental complaints and concerns as well as solutions for nuisances such as odors, dust, and noise.
Residents will have an opportunity to meet with MDEQ staff along with representatives from the City of Pascagoula and local industries. The meeting will be held at the Pascagoula Senior Center located at 1912 Live Oak Avenue beginning at 5:00 p.m.
The event will include an Informational Session from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. for citizens to ask questions in an informal setting and a Community Forum from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. for those that want to deliver comments.
