MDEQ Lifts Closure for Station 15 in Ocean Springs No Advisories in Effect

(JACKSON, Miss.) – The Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality (MDEQ), through its Beach Monitoring Program, lifted a beach closure Wednesday for Station 15 (Shearwater Beach in Ocean Springs). All stations across the Mississippi Gulf Coast are open.

The closure is lifted for:

•Station 15 — Shearwater Beach — from Weeks Bayou east to Ashley Place in Ocean Springs.
