INVITATION FOR BIDS
Notice is hereby given that the Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality (MDEQ,) is seeking sealed bids for the MDEQ – HANCOCK COUNTY MARSH LIVING SHORELINE PROJECT: PHASE 6 – BAYOU BOLAN TO BAYOU CADDY (the Project). This project is administered by MDEQ and funded by the RESTORE Council, award GNTSP20MS0103, and the Mississippi Trustee Implementation Group. The Project includes the construction of a living shoreline and associated breakwater materials between Bayou Bolan and Bayou Caddy and consists of installing approximately 8,180 linear feet of stone breakwater.

An optional Pre-Bid Meeting will be held at 1:00 p.m. CDT, October 15, 2024, online utilizing GoTo Meeting and can be accessed here, or by phone at +1 (224) 501-3412: Access Code: 519-115-685. The purpose of the pre-bid meeting is to allow potential offerors an opportunity to present questions to staff and obtain clarification of the procurement requirements.
Bids will be received until 3:00 p.m. CDT, October 31, 2024 at the MDEQ office located at 515 East Amite St., Jackson, MS 39201 or electronically via MAGIC (RFx # 3160006901). All bids received after this deadline will be returned unopened. Bids will be publicly opened at 3:15 p.m. CDT on October 31, 2024 online utilizing GoTo Meeting and can be accessed here, or by phone at +1 (646) 749-3122; Access Code: 985-298-765.
Minority and women business enterprises are encouraged to bid as a prime contractor or to make inquiries regarding potential subcontracting opportunities. All bidders must make positive efforts to use small and minority owned businesses and women’s business enterprises as subcontractors and/or suppliers, as applicable.
