(DeSoto County, MS) MDEQ is aware of the high ozone readings from the air quality monitor in DeSoto County occurring this morning, Saturday, March 12, 2022. Upon investigation, it appears that the ozone monitor began malfunctioning overnight. MDEQ continues to investigate the issue. Air quality monitors in the surrounding Memphis, TN area currently indicate air quality is good.
