The Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality (MDEQ) awarded Rankin County a solid waste assistance grant of $33,198 that will be used by the county for its household hazardous waste collection event, recycling program, and public education. 

The Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality (MDEQ) awarded Quitman County a solid waste assistance grant of $19,884 that will be used by the county to clean up illegal dump sites and for a solid waste enforcement officer. 

The Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality (MDEQ) awarded Pontotoc County a solid waste assistance grant of $15,497 that will be used by the county to clean up illegal dump sites. 

The Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality (MDEQ) awarded Pike County a solid waste assistance grant of $22,177 that will be used by the county to clean up illegal dump sites and for a solid waste enforcement officer. The county also received a grant of $13,570 for a household hazardous waste collection event. The date has not yet been announced. 

The Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality (MDEQ) awarded Perry County a solid waste assistance grant of $11,837 that will be used by the county to clean up illegal dump sites and for public education. 

The Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality (MDEQ) awarded Pearl River County a solid waste assistance grant of $23,429 that will be used by the county to clean up illegal dump sites. 

The Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality (MDEQ) awarded Panola County a solid waste assistance grant of $50,000 that will be used by the county for a solid waste enforcement officer and the county’s recycling program. 

The Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality (MDEQ) awarded Noxubee County a solid waste assistance grant of $10,982 that will be used by the county for a solid waste enforcement officer. 

The Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality (MDEQ) awarded Newton County a solid waste assistance grant of $14,521 that will be used by the county for a household hazardous waste collection event. The date has not yet been announced. 

The Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality (MDEQ) awarded Neshoba County a solid waste assistance grant of $17,084 that will be used by the county to clean up illegal dump sites.
