Air Division Notifications

Any interested person who wants to receive notifications of an Air Division update can request to be placed on the Air notification list by using the forms below.

For clarification on each notification, please see the following:

“Plans and Regulations”:  Stay informed on MDEQ’s air-related rulemaking efforts, which includes (but not limited to) revisions to the existing regulations, the adoption of new regulations, and the adoption of air quality-related State Implementation Plans (SIPs).

“Air Program Updates”:  Stay informed on the new, innovative, and impactful actions being implemented within the overall Air program at MDEQ, which includes (but not limited to) the issuance of guidance documents and the finalization of new (or modified) major Federal / State rules.

“Air Quality Updates”:  Stay informed on matters pertaining to Mississippi’s ambient air quality, which includes (but not limited to) revisions to the National Ambient Air Quality Standards (NAAQS), sign-up information for daily air quality forecasts, and MDEQ’s overall efforts to monitor and maintain the State’s air quality.

“Emissions Reduction Updates”:  Stay informed on the MDEQ programs and initiatives focused on the overall reduction of air pollutants statewide, which includes (but not limited to) the Diesel Emissions Reduction Act (DERA) – School Bus Replacement Program, the Climate Pollution Reduction Grant (CPRG), the Volkswagen Environmental Mitigation Trust Settlement, and overall outreach efforts.
