Please click Public Notice (Amite BioEnergy) for the notice regarding the following proposed air permitting actions for Amite BioEnergy, LLC – Wood Pellet Manufacturing Facility (located in Gloster): modification of the Permit to Construct Air Emissions Equipment issued March 9, 2021; issuance of an initial Title V Operating Permit. The public comment period for the proposed permitting actions will begin on October 11, 2024 and end on November 26, 2024. A public hearing will be held at 6:00 PM on November 14, 2024, at the Gloster Public Library (located at 229 East Main Street in Gloster, MS). If you have any comments concerning the proposed permitting actions, please submit them to my attention either electronically at https://www.mdeq.ms.gov/whitlock-jaricus/ or by hand-mail using the address shown in the attached notice no later than November 26, 2024.
