MDEQ Issues Beach Advisory for Station 15 in Jackson County
The Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality (MDEQ), through its Beach Monitoring Program, issued a water contact advisory Wednesday for Station 15 (Shearwater Beach) in Jackson County. An advisory remains in effect for Station 7 (Pass Christian East Beach).

The Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality (MDEQ), through its Beach Monitoring Program, lifted a water contact advisory Thursday for Station 1 (Lakeshore Beach) in Hancock County. There are no advisories currently in effect across the Mississippi Gulf Coast.
MDEQ Lifts Two Beach Advisories in Harrison County Two Other Advisories in Effect
The Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality (MDEQ), through its Beach Monitoring Program, lifted water contact advisories Wednesday for Stations 5 and 10. Two other advisories remain in effect.
**Correction: Station 1 Remains Under Advisory**

MDEQ Awards Solid Waste Planning Grant to Smith County
